Default Wine websites

Trying to draw on the EDF collective wisdom.

Obvious ones for ratings, tasting notes and forums:

www.cellartracker.com (I love this site)
www.winespectator.com
www.erobertparker.com
www.winemag.com

Sites to help find specific bottles for purchase:

www.erobertparker.com (retailer search area)
www.wine-searcher.com (really good)
www.winecommune.com
www.winebid.com
www.zachys.com
www.winezap.com

Any others, or any specific retailers with particularly good inventory? I'm really looking for places that have pretty good depth and not just current releases. Am I missing any "can't miss" sites or resources?

Thanks

Sherry Lehmann is a great retailer. They have relationships with vineyards across the globe to not only bring excellent wines & spirits, but ones you cannot find anywhere else. Join the mailing list - you'll get an extensive catalog every few months.

Have you ever looked at wine.com? It's a retailer (specializing in cheaper wines I think) and they link to the ratings of Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, James Halliday, Wine News, Wine & Spirits and Wine Enthusiast.

Not much of a wine person, but that is the only site I have ever looked at, it seems to have a lot on it.

I prefer Tanzer to Parker.

I used to read this a lot more, pre-poker, but I still think it's a very good community.

Get on their email list (frequent). OK prices, significant inventory of older/cult wines.

Just came in the mail yesterday, available online also:

Food & Wine's 10 Best Online Wine Shops

Wine-searcher.com is invaluable, you can also use it to track down spirits and beer.

wineloverspage.com ain't pretty, but has some good articles and a good discussion board. corked.com looks like it has a lot of potential, too.

The bulletin board at www.erobertparker.com is an excellent wine discussion forum.
