I dont understand the point of the shove?
Are there any hands that will call you that dont have you beat? I think a c/r if he bets smallish is better than just open-shoving. I dont think its an awful play. You (unfortunetly) have an awkward stack and thus you can't really shove pf or really make a standard raise. I think you can open-shove pf or just make a std raise. I mean I dont think you can really play this hand poorly. I'm not a fan of shoving the flop tho. I would rather c/r or get it in on the turn so that worse hands might put some money in.

I think you played it fine; ziza you are shoving flop if you whiff here right so I think you do here regardless of the [censored] Ace.

am i shoving if i whiff?
I mean what if i had the A? would I still be shoving there?
I mean I think you can get a call from a 5 here, but you are ALWAYS getting called by an A here.

Well I shoved the flop for numerous reasons.
1. I think he would RR me with almost any A, mid PP and up and possibly any two face cards.
2. I kinda wanted it to look like a blocker and maybe he would call with worse cards, IE mid pair/ or even maybe med. PP.

I agree that I am at a very awkward chip count, which I think led to my shove.

Your shove folds all hands that you beat, and he's not folding an A.

If you are not folding, check raise it and try to get chips from a worse hand.
