Default KK against a probable slowplay

Villain is new on the table. I haven't reads on him.
Is call down to river better?

I think a fold is OK here, but my option would be to call and see tha river.

U should cap the flop against an unknow. He does not know what your cap means so just valuebet - no need to be deceptive when you don't know how to use it.

On the flop u could bet and he will fold almost anything except an A or a flushdraw. This is a tough spot and I would prolly just call down.

Preflop, capping is of course an option.

Check-calling the turn is highly unlikely to cost you the pot, as Villain won't fold a hand like JsJc to a bet anyway. And I agree that there's a good chance you're up against a slowplay. (Basically, the other likely explanation for the flop check is that Villain is scared of the ace.)

What you did probably saved you a bet versus simply check-calling down, but I probably would have decided I wanted to see a showdown and would have taken a passive turn/river line.
