also vava, how much money did the participants give us? according to my records, i have $3000 of participant money. is that correct?

I'd prefer that the 1st/2nd place money isn't/wasn't paid out until OevgO completes his semi final games vs Soon2b...

I understand that is is very frustrating to have to wait for the final...but I didn't want to start paying out people until they are elimiated from the competition...

I paid DanJ as he had been knocked out... and although I paid OevgO, I paid him as he needed cash on Stars...I understand if you want your "Locked Up" money, but in the interests of keeping some organisation about this tourney I'd ask if you could just wait until the final is ready to be done....

Fwiw, Its not OevgO that is holding this up - I have spoken to him nearly on a daily basis on AIM etc...

I think Rhand is simply doing what I did. I saw that you had already paid DanJ and figured if you were dispensing money, I could certainly use the money guaranteed so far.

I understand that ... Its just been disappointing that after starting so well that the tourney has dragged towards the end...I appreciate that people have other commitments and occasionally time differences can play a big part in the delays...but it still shouldn't have gone on this long...

I think the 'next time' if I am lucky enough to be asked to run one of these I will create some rules that limit the amount of time allowed per round as 2-3 weeks is far too long !

As for payment towards Rhand....I'd just prefer it if 1st and 2nd were paid after completion of the final....

Which at this rate is likely to be Jan 2103

Sure np and I totally understand, its pretty stupid that some people took so long to play their rounds as it lessened the intrest from everybody in the tourny.
