Default Win big pot looking for Implied odds in £3r rebuy

Ladbrokes (European) $3r with about 400 players. Was looking to call small raises getting implied odds (stacks were all 2000 - 4000) I have 9To

> spook1690 called for 30
> magikal called for 30
> Signet22 folded
> bitparanoid folded
> HERO called for 30
> HAFFERS folded
> coyote90 folded
> blueboy1959 called for 30
> aka-combat89 folded
> sammij bet for 150
> spook1690 called for 150
> magikal folded
> HERO called for 150
> blueboy1959 called for 150

> Dealing the Flop(10c 8c 7d )

> sammij bet for 765
> spook1690 called for 765
> HERO went all-in for 3,710
> blueboy1959 folded
> sammij went all-in for 2,940
> spook1690 folded
> Extra chips returned to ingy, 5

> Dealing the turn(6s )

> Dealing the river(4c )

I hit my straight draw to beat Pocket Queens. I get abused. Did I deserve it?

Nobody ever deserves to get berated for how they play during the rebuy period. You would probably be more deserving of some beratement if you folded the OESD with top pair, you can always rebuy.

I agree. It just gets me when people berate you when sometimes good decisions don't always look so obvious?

Was the push on the flop ok? I'm not calling but can I find a fold? The rebuys aren't crazy like stars but quite loose early on.

I like the play it reminds me of how Sean Deeb recomends you play early in his "begginers guide to the 180" which is one of my favourite posts. nh wp

Yeah the shove is fine, I'm not familiar with ladsbrokes or the standard of play in this MTT though. It's tough to assign a range based on a HH, but the way the pre-flop action and post-flop action went I doubt you'll get a fold very often in this spot.

Oh I thought you were asking about your fold equity.....

I don't like a fold here but it all depends on you. If you think having a big stack gives you a huge edge on this field you shouldn't be folding IMO (not that you can have a really big edge this early but some people at this level play post-flop so badly I like to have as many chips as possible so I have more flexibility when the blinds get bigger and the antes kick in). If you're not going to be able to rebuy, maybe you can find a spot where your edge is bigger.

Exactly what I was thinking. I like to take good gambles in rebuy. I think the stack helps a lot as this one has 10min blind levels but no antes - it's quick.
