Default MTT v/s Small Bankroll

Hello All ,
I'm new hear & would like some Multi table tips in regards to my bankroll. Please go easy on me I am new here .. But I've heard good things & hope to learn alot here, Thanks in advance.

I have a small bank roll on poker stars .. about 300$
I only play Multi table & no cash games. I would call my play, above average but not great for poker stars & multi table plays. I've read alot of books & know a little more than average but still have alot of work to do on my game.

For those of you who know alot about small stakes play on poker stars .. please tell me the best type of games to be playing to build my bankroll . ie.. what buy in ammounts & # of players ??

Thanks again & I'm glad I joined 2+2

3/45 mans are probably your best bet. I've maintained about a 100% ROI in them over a pretty decent sample size (I never plan to play enough of them to get a proper sample size, but yeah).

Incredibly soft.

try the $4 180 mans..first is $216 and they are pretty soft...granted i would recommend playing more than one at a time as one tournament (if you final table it) could take up to 3 hours

$11-13 games are supported by about a $1200 roll. It may seem like a lot, but you want to make sure you are rolled for the games you are playing, otherwise you'll just be redepositing.

A lot of it depends on how hard it is for you to redeposit. If it's not a big deal, and you feel comfortable in your ability to play $11 tourneys, then go for it. However, if the $300 is all the money you have for poker for the foreseeable future, then I'd advise you don't play anything higher than a 4/180 until you get more of a roll working. Once you get to $500 or so you can start taking the occasional shot at a higher tourney, just stop doing that if you get back down to $400.

I ran 350 to 5500 or so playing the $11ish level tournies...I'm still at that level thoug part of it is that their aren't that many higher ones convenient to my schedule...also the higher ones are oftn deepstacked which is a big time commitment...With a better roll I would suggest targeting the Stars $12 180 SNG turbos...lot of variance but very soft
