as announced on ESPN, The cubs just acquired Kendall from the As for I didn't catch who. Did anyone hear what they said? Either way, roflmao. Obviously the ESPN guys loooove the pickup.

-Kendall is a proven winner. They had to give up a very good prospect and pay some cash..

-A lot of cash, Kendall isn't cheap

-Right, a lot of cash. But he's a proven hitter and a proven winner so it's a great deal for the Cubs

Has this been officially announced? ESPN.com has it as a rumor and chicagocubs.com shows nothing.

EDIT: Clarified that I was talking about ESPN's website.
