Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
i didnt like yer call there. adanthar shows up w/ the goods here a large % of the time, as u cannot shove light on a utg limper. i was surprised he turned over a hand as weak as he did tbh

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] question: what does everyone think adanthar's range is in the preview hand? [/ QUOTE ] pp. 66-99. [/ QUOTE ] way wider than this. he's not offering us very good odds, so he figures on lots of FE. I would say something like 22-JJ, Axs, A7+, KT+, 98s+. I think you can put QQ-AA in if he reads us as thinking player b/c "no way he just jams with QQ+" If we are donkey, better to flat pre, crai flop with the big pairs. But a thinking player might wonder what he's flatting OOP for 10% of his stack with. |

[ QUOTE ] question: what does everyone think adanthar's range is in the preview hand? [/ QUOTE ] pp. 66-99. [/ QUOTE ] This is a resteal, so he could have almost anything. I certainly wouldn't put him on a narrow range. AQ or 88 is more likely than A2s, 87s, 22, KTo etc., but all of the latter are possible. Adanthar is fairly tight, but I wouldn't rule out any playable hand. |

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
[ QUOTE ]
#1: 88+, ATs+, AJo+, KJs+, KQo I like completing in #2, although adanthar is probably going to raise on principle. Minraise is almost weird enough to work. [/ QUOTE ] This range just doesn't make any sense. 77 and 66 are > KJs and KQ for any reasonable shoving range for adanthar. I think 66 is a must call because adanthar is shoving 55 here for sure and probably 44. 55 is borderline. So I'd say 66+,AJ+ |

UTG limper in hand 2 is "not good at poker". [/ QUOTE ] Given this read, I make the KJ hand 200 to go. He's probably limp/folding stuff like 78s and JT. |

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
hand 2 is generally a call. utg's range is pp, you call, let BB test utg's range if BB raises/shoves. that's in general.
But in this hand, like adanther said, utg is a bad player, I guess if you don't shove, adanthar may shove 12BB with a lot of hands. However, given utg's stack and adanthar yet to act, you may just call. Interesting spot though. utg will almost call your raise all the time. I probably just call and fold if adanthar shoves, but tell him he owes me one. |

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
Nah, he's nitty. CALLING range should be tighter. Adanthar is only wide UTG...you know 7h8h type [censored].
(Or was it offsuit) |

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
I don't really understand what's being asked, I just popped in to say "it depends if adanthar is playing like adanthar or if he's trying to play like me"

Re: Deep in Sunday Million vs. adanthar
Thanks for all responses, esp. to adanthar
Hand 2 UTG: I did not see him play as much as adanthar did, I only know that his results in database are poor. Thay3r: I never said I was lost here, I mainly included the hand to give you history for the main hand, but I figured I can as well check the range. In the main hand you complete, adanthar (BB) shoves, UTG folds. |
