standard stats for a nit / TAG player ?
First sorry for my poor english.
I'am looking for some exemples of standard stats (full ring no limit holdem micro stakes) for a nit / tight aggro player. I used to play very tight (about 11 to 13 $VPiP), aggro (4.5 aggro post flop) but i do not pré-flop raise often : about 5%(only AA KK QQ JJ AK AQ and some PP / suited c in position) . I'am a short winning player (5 Big Bet / 100) at NL25$. I don't know if the rest of my stats are "standard" (or good for my style of play), so, i would like to compare to "target stats". Ex : Went to showdown %, Won without showdown etc etc. If a good winning very tight / aggro or nit player read this, i'll be glad to see his stats. Thanks in advance. |

Re: standard stats for a nit / TAG player ?
FWIW, I started playing semiseriously NL25 10 days ago, and my stats after 9k hands are 10'72/5'64/2'82
WWSF: 30'66 WentSD: 21'20 WonSD: 61'80 I'm trying to up the pfr but I don't know if it's worth it at this level, because those players who limp everything will call anyway if we raise them. I'm winning 7 ptbb/100, most of the play is in Stars with some Party and FT. |

Re: standard stats for a nit / TAG player ?
So the average stats of a winning FR player are something like 18/6? I would have thought it would be closer to 18/10 or PFRs even closer to the VPIP.

[/ QUOTE ] if the style is working .. fine, but you can definitely loosen up a lot at that level, isolating in position against overly loose players = free money |

The average player who posted his data runs at 18/6 and that is all you can say. You can't make any assumtions about the posters being winning players from the data collected as none of them had enough of a sample size to prove they were winning players. |

Re: standard stats for a nit / TAG player ?
So what are the average stats of players that are considered winning players at FR?

Re: standard stats for a nit / TAG player ?
This question comes up almost once a week. Which is fine, it is an important consideration. However, there is no cookie cutter recipe for being a winning FR player.
Its cliche but you can be a winning player with all varieties of PF statistics. A 10/7 can be a winning player, as can a 28/14, as can many other styles. Postflop play is much more important in maintaining a good win rate. That being said: I think a stereotypical TAG stats would be around 14/8 and LAG stats would look more like 20/11. The line between the two gets blurry and not all stats fall into one category - keep that in mind and make sure not to pigeonhole anyone just because their stats reflect one style of play. |
