pay the ticket. its such a small fine.

learn from this. is the 5 minutes saved by speeding worth the risk of financial/bodily harm?

I asked a cop during traffic school about radar and cops guessing speed. He said most cops don't need radar.

So a cops guess will stand up in court, which I feel is rediculous.

I really dont think a "guess" will hold up in court....they have to prove in some way shape or form an actual assesment of speed (radar certification, through following you and calibration proof)...I am not certain but dont think...yea I think he was going about 40 is gonna cut it...

...yea I think I saw him kill that guy....well then I guess hes guilty

it doesn't seem like him 'estimating' my speed would stand up in court.

It will.

Ok heres the deal I just asked my sister who was a cop for the past ten years and she said without any actual proof of speed you cannot "guess" a speed...you can pace someone from inside the car by following or usual other tools like radar...but by standing outside of the car and having someone drive past you and attempting to write them a ticket for speeding or excessive speeding is [censored]

I always thought the cops "estimate" of speeding could only be done when they are drivng as well, so they can use the speed they are traveling at to figure how fast you are going. Since Gamble's sister seems to confirm this, I would fight the ticket.
