Re: Illegal aliens given drivers\' licenses
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] How is it a slap in the face to us? [/ QUOTE ] Because they get priviledges that are for citizens. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, no non-citizen has ever legally driven a car in the US. If you thought for 15 seconds about stuff before posting reactionary BS, you would save yourself a lot of embarassment. [ QUOTE ] They weren't chumps. People like you who have been brainwashed into thinking socialism is great are the chumps. [/ QUOTE ] LOL. Those who oppose open immigration are the socialists. DUCY? |

HEY OP MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS [/ QUOTE ] There are those rare moments of beauty on the internet. An occasion when Snowball and I are in agreement is often one of those. Especially when he expresses it in his special way. |

Re: Illegal aliens given drivers\' licenses
I'm surprised no "conspiracy theorist" have made the argument that this is the first step towards a national card. By making the driver's license loose face value, you can make a case for a more "secured" card such as a bugged national card.

Re: Illegal aliens given drivers\' licenses
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] you realize there is almost no possible way for blue collar workers to get to the USA now accept illegally right? If you had your way, your grandparents would never be allowed in the US. gg. [/ QUOTE ] Prior to WW1 we needed immigrants to develop this country. Since then immigration has been more and more of a detriment, not a benefit. Other countries have historically had a tougher stance on immigration than the US, but that doesn't mean unchecked immigration should continue here. If the immigrants of the past few decades are so good and hard working, they should grace other countries with their presence. [/ QUOTE ] [X] reactionary [X] thinly veiled racism [X] silly, intellectually bankrupt |

If we let this happen, then the immigrants have already won. |

Re: Illegal aliens given drivers\' licenses
coming from someone who has personally worked in restaurants with kitchen staff who were (almost undoubtedly illegal), as well as manual labor (friend's landscaping business) with guatemalans, Salavadorenos, etc and man do those sum bitches work hard. Man it's just something else. I was moving and stacking wood a couple weekends ago, and it was me, a guatemalan guy , and his 72 year old father... and they were killing it (without gloves mind you). I have a lot of respect for honest workers, regardless of if they're illegal or not.
Having said that, I've heard from healthcare professionals that a lot of virus and disease is spread through these communities because either they don't want to get treated, as it could risk them being deported. On top of this, don't illegals commonly get treatment at hospitals (who can't refuse patients), then are much more likely to walk out on the hospital bill? Is there any truth to that? I'm very open to info regarding the issue. But this whole "they turk err jerbz!" mentality is borderline retarded |
