on an unrelated note, when looking at 95-96 Bulls stats I came across strange salary figures:

Michael Jordan:
1984-85 $550,000
1985-86 $630,000
1986-87 * $737,500
1987-88 $845,000
1988-89 $2,000,000
1989-90 * $2,250,000
1990-91 $2,500,000
1991-92 $3,250,000
1992-93 $4,000,000
1993-94 $4,000,000
1994-95 $3,850,000
1995-96 $3,850,000
1996-97 $30,140,000
1997-98 $33,140,000
2001-02 $1,000,000
2002-03 $1,030,000
Career (may be incomplete) $93,772,500

Scottie Pippen:
1987-88 $725,000
1988-89 $575,000
1989-90 * $670,000
1990-91 $765,000
1991-92 $2,770,000
1992-93 $3,425,000
1993-94 $3,075,000
1994-95 $2,225,000
1995-96 $2,925,000
1996-97 $2,250,000
1997-98 $2,775,000
1998-99 $11,000,000
1999-00 $14,795,642
2000-01 $13,750,000
2001-02 $18,083,564
2002-03 $19,727,524
2003-04 $4,917,000

Whats the deal with the salaries being so low until the later 90s?

I cant decide on an answer to the poll.

Are you basically asking if the warriors at home are the best NBA team ever?

reason for the higher salary for jordan was the larry bird rule which allowed a team to resign their own player for any amount over the cap.

pippens jump seems to correlate with the lockout.
