Re: I was going to instacall a flop push.

why not just shove if you're going to 3-bet the flop? [/ QUOTE ] to induce the 4bet bluff that people do bc the 3bet on this board is never a hand OMG YETI THEOREM. |

Re: I was going to instacall a flop push.
i dont think flop is that bad, but 3-betting the flop commits you to the hand, so folding it later is a bad idea if you're gonna do that.

[/ QUOTE ] i feel like i very often agree with what dj has to say. i agree here too, though i think the chance the he has us beat when he just calls the flop is far higher than if he would've just shoved...but ya still call the river. i also don't like the flop 3-bet vs. an unknown who has no idea what the yeti-theorem is or will perceive ur 3-bet as a bluff. i do it sometimes vs. the wrong player and always hate myself after. assuming they are a bad player they are raising 77 to find out where they are at, not to induce a bluff 3-bet or turn there hand into a bluff or anything like that. |

Re: I was going to instacall a flop push.
if u r ready to call a flop push call river now u will be beat here some of course but not more than the odds giving to you.turn and river are good cards for a small over pair the villian will sometimes have
