Default Party Points question

I have 184k pts and 85k of those pts are redeemable for cash.

I want to get the 60gb ipod(100kpts), but that would leave me 1k short. Anyway to get those 1k pts before party shuts out us players? Or can I just get the ipod and then party will just redeem 84k pts for cash?

# At the end of the promotion, points will be converted into cash based on the balance in your account. If you have used points that were earned during the promotion (Players Club), then the remaining balance will be converted to cash.

Step 1 1,000 Points $.015 per point
Step 2 5,000 Points $.020 per point
Step 3 15,000 Points $.025 per point

All the points I'm earning now go towards cash, so I can't get 1k more from playing alone.

Really? So my 4000 points is $60? Do they credit that automatically? I haven't received an email about this.

They will credit automatically.

I emailed them, they told me not to use the points on anything since it will deduct from the most recent points I have used first, and I won't be able to cash those.

I think this is wrong. I asked the same question and they told me that any points I had left that are eligible for the points->cash promotion will be credited to my account - even if I made a purchase. I cashed out 350,000 points on a TV and I still get the pop-up with my points->cash status with the current amount and will presumably get that cash when the promotion pays.
