Re: More cable movies on the DVR
WTC is ok but nothing near United 93.
LITW- haven't heard anyone that liked it but you probably already know that. Hollywoodland- OK but I pretty much knew it all from watching Unsolved Mysteries. The Illusionist- watch it, very enjoyable. |

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
Inside Deep Throat was decent. A little boring in parts but it was interesting to hear just how radically our understanding of sexuality has changed in the past 30 years.
Idiocracy was incredibly idiotic and I kept trying to turn it off but I couldn't. That's not to say it was good, I suppose it was entertaining. |

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
If "The Lives of Others" isn't available via cable/satalite then you have a good reason to sign up for Netflix or a similar service.

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
El D,
I saw fearless in the OP, that was pretty good. Had its moments, good story, solid action. WTC was the only movie I ever left where the theater was dead silent. Inside deep throat- I only caught about an hour of it and when I recorded it I thought it was about the Nixon deal. Needless to say I was surprized, but I couldnt turn away from it and it was interesting to see how much has changed sinc e then. |

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
I thought WTC was vastly inferior to United 93.
I don't know if it's really possible to enjoy Army of Darkness when you aren't 19 and stoned, but I'm looking forward to your take on it. |

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
All,
To clarify, the Employee of the Month I have listed there stars Steve Zahn, Christina Applegate, and Matt Dillon, not Jessica Simpson, Dax Shepard, and Dane Cook. |

Re: More cable movies on the DVR
All,
Once again, haven't watched anything, but have saved some more movies! Any of these really awesome or suck? Blood Diamond Deja Vu 3:10 to Yuma (1957 original w/ Glenn Ford) Flags of our Fathers Friends With Money Stranger Than Fiction The Black Dahlia The Last Mogul: The Life and Times of Lew Wasserman (documentary) Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man (documentary) That makes 49 movies currently on the DVR. I'm going to try going on an epic movie-watching spree and watch at least one per day for the next couple of months. |
