So here is the revision on the right, mostly round time changes, which are pretty drastic. I think I had it backwards for the game vision.

So the breaks are now every 90 minutes now, except for the final one which is just for a quick color up.

Larry, I'm considering your 5/7/9/12/15 change, but I'm looking for a compelling reason since the difference seems slight. Other than softening a couple jumps or making them later, which is nice, do you have one?

Your 6/8/10/12 works just fine.

However, are you SURE you want to drag on the first two rounds, then start zooming the tourney when the stacks are short on average?

If you want to stick with it, go back to 12 green, 12 black. You're going to need them.

The rounds are shorter at the end and I do hate pushfests for everyone super late, but a twenty five minute round in the last 6 rounds (playable) isn't exactly zooming.

Our rebuy tourneys are typicall all rounds of 25 minutes.

I could knock rounds 3 & 4 down to 30 and add that extra 30 in later. I'll think about that one.

Personally I would add 75/150 as well as 600/1200 and skipping 500/1000 and 700/1400

Just use a casino style structure and vary the interval time

http://www.homepokertourney.com/blinds-wsop.htm

When our group wants to do a slow, deep stack tourney, we use the above blind structure for the WSOP main event. You could drop the antes if you feel that it will be an impediment to the play.

To control the length of the tourney, we adjust blind level interval time to about 25 minutes.
