If your read is correct about the villain then I would say he is playing a big pair and just can't fold.

I would push here.

The villain looks at this scary board for a big pair and still calls the turn. He will probably call it all on the river.

I just read the results and was right on the hand.

The only way I am checking here is if your read is different.

A TAG will chase a flush all the way to the river maybe 10% of the time. A looser villain would chase way more often and that is when I would check the river.
