Default 100nl - Set on a nasty board 150bb deep

Villain is 40/8/3.5 over 50 or 60 hands

We don't really have any history and I can't really say anything specific he's done, which means he plays like you would imagine a 40/8/3.5 would. Too passive PF, too aggro postflop. One thing I do know is that he'll stack off with an overpair if I hit a set.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $149.60
BB: $31.30
UTG: $189.80
BTN: $336.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $3.00</font>, Hero calls $2.50, BB folds

Flop: ($7) 6 4 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $2.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $12.00</font>, BTN calls $10.00

Turn: ($31) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $25.00</font>, BTN calls $25.00

River: ($81) 9 (2 Players)

we have $110 left on the river...can we bet/fold $50 here?. I really hate stacking off on this card unless I know he'd shove less than a flush. i also hate checking and have him check behind a hand he would have called a bet with.

but what is he calling a bet with? is he calling that big flop flop raise w/overs (AK, KQ, etc?...based on the action, i'd put him on either a flush draw or a pair 99-JJ. maybe even 77.

I probably bet like 1/2pot on the river. His pushing range crushes you so you can fold if he raises that s.hit up.
