Default AQ against TAG.

Villain is a 16/14 multi-tabling TAG.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $115.65
Hero: $100
Button: $28.25
SB: $57.50
BB: $140.95

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $3.5</font>, Hero calls, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($12, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $7</font>, Hero calls, Button folds.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($26, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $20</font>, Hero calls.

River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($66, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

Results:
Final pot: $66

On the turn, I put him on AA/AK/AQ/AJ, or second-barrel bluff. No hand with a 3 makes sense given his stats.

When he checks the river I think I'm usually good, but can I value-bet this? He's seen me call two bets on an extremely dry board, so he has to put me on at least a decent ace, no?

He might call me with AJ, but it's pretty thin I think. The river check also does not rule out AK, which a tight player might be planning to check/call.

A pfr of 14 means he raises a lot of garbage. You should RR preflop. I like the way you played it postflop, but you need to valuebet the river.

yes..check is good here because we have a good showdown hand...AJ may call but it is not worth a bet

Yeah but he's UTG so he is probably not raising a lot of the trash hands he would raise from CO or the button. I think a call is fine here, but a reraise isn't bad either. I think a half pot bet on the river is +EV.
