200NL: 4betting with 66 in UTG+1
Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
SB: $850.08 BB: $225.75 UTG: $208.10 Hero (MP): $200.00 CO: $65.11 BTN: $372.35 Reads: SB is running at 26/24/9 over 150 hands. I've seen him 3bet 33 in UTG+1 to a tight UTG open-raise and A4s OTB, also to a tight UTG raise. he 3bets a hell of a lot, especially after callers. mostly people have folded but he's got a tight 4bet calling range and i figure to have a lot of FE against his range. i've 4bet bluffed him once PF and it worked. he's a multitabler. CO is a 70/7 over 30 hands calling station. He'll play any two in any position. I've seen him cold call A9o to a 3bet PF. note CO's short stack. Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, Hero raises to $8.00, CO calls $8.00, BTN folds, SB raises to $36.00, BB folds, Hero raises to $75.00 |

Re: 200NL: 4betting with 66 in UTG+1
i have been doing this alot lately and as long as you pick the right spots it's easily profitable though i'd probably make it ~$80/$85

W/e, $90 or shove are both fine.

Re: 200NL: 4betting with 66 in UTG+1
You have to call a shove anyway given the pot odds, so you might as well just shove, right? I think that's fine given history.

Re: 200NL: 4betting with 66 in UTG+1
The only problem with this is hat the donk should be preventing villain from 3-betting light here. However he doesn't sound terribly aware, you have to do this sometimes, and 66 is a good hand for it.

Re: 200NL: 4betting with 66 in UTG+1
This is okay given the description you provided. You have to play back at this guy at some point, etc. I would raise more, but I wouldn't push. I think a non-push raise actually looks stronger and has more FE. You don't want to raise so little that he's priced into calling with the very hands you want him to ditch.

[ QUOTE ] ppl call a shove over a 4bet with 66 getting 3 to 1? how can this not be profitable? [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Is this sarcastic? I can't tell and I'm confused. If he pushes over our big 4bet, I expect to see a larger pair than ours much more often than unpaired overs. In fact, I would by default assume the only hand he pushes over our 4bet with that we're flipping with is AK (given that there isn't any sort of wild 4betting history or anything like that). Am I being retarded? I mean, I realize Bayes Theorum says yada and if we stove up AKo,AKs,JJ+ we have the odds and stuff - but I feel like in practice I see AK so much less often than big pairs when people are shoving over 4bets with no real history.... |
