Default Going to San Fran at the end of April

One of my buddies is getting married at the end of April. He's getting hitched at Napa Valley. I will be going from 4/23 to 4/30. One of the things I want to do out there is to go to either Yosemite or Sequoia National Park. Is Yosemite open at that time of year or is there still too much snow on the ground? What am I looking at as far as driving time goes to both parks? Are there any other good parks to go to that aren't as well known?

Oh yea, and what's the closest casino?

SF -> Yosemite is about a 4-5 hr drive, 200 mi.
Valley floor is open year round.
Yosemite in spring

Closer to SF, try Muir Woods or Pt Reyes Natl Seashore.
