Cherokee Casino in Tulsa
I go to school here in Tulsa and am looking to start playing live and had a few questions.
1. What NLHE limits are usually spread? I usually play 2/4-5/10 online and would want at the very least to play 2/5 but would prefer 5/10. How often do they run? How is the competition? 2. How easily can I get in being <21? I used to play at Creek Nation because its 18+ but the highest games they have is 1/2 and I would like to play higher. I have a decent fake ID from Texas and look older than 21 if I dont shave. Will I have any problems? |

Re: Cherokee Casino in Tulsa
The normal NLHE limits are 1/2 and 2/5. The 2/5 has no max buyin and usually plays fairly deep. 5/10 runs only occasionally except during tournament time, when it runs regularly. As it happens, it's tournament time right now and will be until the 21st or so. The 2/5 and 5/10 competition ranges from very soft to decent (depending on who is at the table, obviously).
As for being underage, I can't help you there. You probably will be fine but there's always a bit of risk, I suppose. |

Re: Cherokee Casino in Tulsa
I should be an expert on this, I played underage at Cherokee for like a year... I pretty much never got carded there... If you have a good fake you should be fine...
I can't believe that there is actually a winning midstakes player in Tulsa... You go to TU I guess? Also the next two weeks are going to be great for 5/10 NL... |

It is uncapped, Every game except 1/2 nl is uncapped... I'd say the average stack is like 150-200 bbs
