Default A9s - Good or Bad? Live 3/6 hand

I keep having nightmares about this hand and I don't know, I mean I just don't know whether my flop play was good or bad? Please help me out.

Hero is EP w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

MP2 is 2nd best player at the table. Everyone else are between retarded and drunk.

I call. MP2 raises. CO calls. BTN calls. SB folds. BB calls. I call.

Flop (5 players / 11SB) : K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB checks. I check. MP2 bets. CO calls. BTN calls. BB folds. I raise. MP2 just calls. CO calls. BTN calls.

This was just my value raise with 3 others in the hand.

Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet. MP2 folds. CO folds. BTN calls.

River: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet. BTN calls.

Now, what kills me is that I got 2 folders when I led the turn, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure neither CO nor MP2 had me on a flush draw, neither are familiar with the concept of raising on a flush draw for value.

I'm having this nightmare that if I had just called the flop, the turn would have gone something like:

I check, MP2 bets, CO calls, BTN calls, I raise, MP2 folds, CO calls, BTN calls.

Comments appreciated

i fail to see how you didnt play this hand perfectly

the turn is equally likely to just get checked around if no one has a K, which seems probable.

Played it like a champ. Nothing to second-guess here. Too bad that everyone folded - but that happens.
Don't start falling into weak tight slowplaying patterns

Nice hand. Consider raising preflop, but nice hand.

3-bet or instead of limping? I don't really like the raise instead of a limp, but a 3-bet seems kind of fun.

What's the reasoning? We just got raised by quite probably a dominating hand, we are out of position, and two more are tagging along. Can't be value raise, can't be iso raise, what is it then?

raising first in the first time, he means, instead of limping.

I would have done 1 of 2 things, c/c the flop then c/r the turn, but more likely i would have led out on the flop. Then if there is a raise behind, just call and look to c/r the turn if i hit. Or if there is no raise and everyone called i would still likely try to c/r the turn. Still nothing wrong with how you played it but if this works you'll end up getting more money out of them.

Instead of a limp. Limp-reraising here would be pretty bad.
