Default Friend got in a serious car accident Asking for donations Link inside

One of my friends got in a real bad car wreck yesterday. She broke both her legs, pelvis, had brain trauma, bleeding in her skull, a collapsed lung, and a hairline fracture in her spine. She's in critical but stable condition right now. There's a fund set up for her surgeries to help out her family to pay for them. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in donating any amount of money. If so, you can send it to JayA21 on Full Tilt. I will wait a week or so and cash out all of the donated money and bring it to the bank for her fund. Here's a link to show that this is a real situation, not some sick scam.

Any amount of money would be greatly appreciated to help out her family. She's one of the sweetest, most caring people, and her family will greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Sorry about that. Didn't realize.

CHAUVIN -- A two-vehicle crash on La. 56 in Chauvin sent a 17-year-old to a local hospital with serious injuries and blocked traffic for more than an hour Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened just after noon on the two-lane highway at Duplantis Bridge near Klondyke, authorities said.

Linsey Rogers of Chauvin, behind the wheel of a 2006 Toyota Camry, was attempting to make a left turn from the two-lane bridge onto the highway. She allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign and was hit by a green 1997 GMC truck headed north on La. 56. The truck, driven by 39-year-old James Ray III, of Madison, Miss., hit the Camry on its side, State Police said.

Firefighters had to extricate Rogers from the Camry. She was taken to Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center by Acadian Ambulance with critical injuries, authorities said.

Ray sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

Both Ray and Rogers were wearing their seat belts, authorities said.

Ray, who remained at the scene to talk to State Police, declined comment other than to express his concern for Rogers, a South Terrebonne High School senior and one of the school’s cheerleaders.

Several residents of the bayou community, including 53-year-old Deborrah Denning, said the intersection is dangerous because the stop sign is frequently ignored.

"I hear them honking all the time because no one stops," she said.

Denning said replacing the sign with a traffic light probably wouldn’t improve the situation since the problem has to do more with the drivers, not the enforcement.

"They just need to pay attention and stop for the stop sign," she said.
