pocket 10\'s in BB, 5NL
do you play this differently? if he had called the turn i would have to evaluate the river card. i really didnt see the board hitting him at all and was really only scared of an overpair.

Re: pocket 10\'s in BB, 5NL
Bet more on flop because one of them rates to have an ace and will call with their gutdraw, plus your hand is still wicked vulnerable. I think an overpair is the least likely thing he could have. Bet more than half pot on turn as well. The way you played it, if he had called turn I would've bet river if it were any non-ace, 3, or 6, probably for around 1/3 pot. If any those scare cards come I probably c/c 1/3 pot, maybe fold if the 3 hits.

Re: pocket 10\'s in BB, 5NL
I would pot size the flop and 2/3 pot - pot size the turn. The way he bet pre-flop it would be safe to say he does not have an over pair.
