Getting 2:1 I think this is fine. He'll probably play a nine with any club like this and you just caught up against smaller flushes that made it on the turn.

I dont really like it, its a bad spot for him to be bluffing and hes certainly not potting a raw 9. I think u see the A of clubs here a lot, as well as 33

Yeah, I suppose you're right. We need a read that he'll do this purely on turn weakness I suppose.

the check on the turn possibly shows his flush and the fourth club may have scared him which reasons his big bet on the river. i'd call this one
