I recently found these EV poker graphs (google "pokerEV") in the SSSH NC Thread. I think the gap between the red line (Sklansky Bucks) and The blue line (Showdown Winnings) is supposed to be a reflection of how you are running. Red above blue = running bad; blue above red = running good.

If so I'm running [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]



Anyone know anything more about these graphs??? The FAQ at thge website doesn't explain much.

This graph implies that you are running a little bad, that you showdown strong hands and that you suck horribly post flop.

Hmmm I went back and looked at the thread the FAQ page referenced. Now I'm not sure what this graph means [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]. Oh and the thread you linked in which someones actual biucks are much lower than Sklansky bucks and yet their profit is through the roof makes approximately no sense to me. So now I have a headache.

Oh and if all it means is that I suck post flop... well I already knew THAT!

Did you read all the posts in the BBV thread, there is good discussion in some of them, I think it will clear things for you.

Basically if you totally rock at NL you will have a negative blue line, a positive green and some random sklansky buck value. This means that you will be outplaying people post flop with weak hands that dont stand up well at showdown and making $$$ in marginal situations.

Edit, edit, in very weak NL games you could also imagine an expert positive blue line since you could both outplay people in marignal situations and showdown stronger hands than they have [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
