Semi-official Opening Day for the rest of the league thread
Yes, there's one MLB game in the books so far, but I think many will consider this the true Opening Day. I mean, the Mets beating Carpenter and the Cards 6-1? April Fools joke, obv.
Anyone attending a game today? I'll be at Safeco Field at 3:30 today, with my first overpriced Mac and Jack's Ale and a bag of peanuts, ready to go. Going to snap a few pics that I'll post later (beat - not a good photographer). Looking forward to the Felix/Haren matchup, and also looking forward to seeing if the M's can do better than 2-17 against the A's this year! OPENING DAY!!!!

Bump. Guess this thread didn't catch on, forgot that everyone was going to start a thread for their team.
Anyway, Opening Day recap from Safeco Field and a great M's win!! Ah, back in Safeco Field!!!  Ichiro!  Vidro on first after the M's first hit of the season. Get a haircut Swisher!!  Felix in action. My camera is only so-so, but I thought this turned out nice.  M's celebrating the win!!  Pretty great game, and Felix was awesome. I snapped some video of Felix delivering the first pitch, I'll post the link after I upload it to YouTube. Take that A's!!

only fly ball by the king was the double off the wall. 12 strikeouts, 12 groundball outs and the rest of the hits were grouders through the infield.
