Film Alert - Westfront 1918

For those looking for something different in film, TCM is showing G.W. Pabst's "Westfront 1918" at 2 AM ET on Monday. The few reviews I've found of it call it superior to "All Quiet On The Western Front" and it's been named one of the 100 most important German films.

I'll have to set my TiVo, it's way too late for me to watch live. Not available on DVD.

I love old german films like this! In fact, I was all slated to take a History of German Filmmaking class at school this fall... but.. well, the fates with traitors [did] contrive :x
