Stack sizes:
UTG: $400
UTG+1: $1392.85
CO: $496
Hero: $793
SB: $757
BB: $487.30

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises to $14</font>, CO folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $52</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises to $176</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($358, 2 players)
UTG+1 bets $330, WTF now?

Note my read was that he typically bet opposite of strength: would often min-donk or pot-sized donk into me and fold to pressure. But his preflop re-raise and flop bet were rather quick.

Fold pre-flop to his 4-bet, and definitely fold on the flop.

fold PF and there is no doubt folding flop here. Cut losses and try for a better spot later on.

Not sure what the problem is. You called preflop with a read, and with a perfect flop and consistent action you're now backing away from the read because the bets are so big. I think most would drop this preflop without much thought, which is probably what you should have done. If you can't rely on that read, and villain's 4-bet range is at least typical, you are toast on all streets.
