Default 100/200 A334

live game mix of stud8 and omaha8 (so it's 8-handed).

mp limps, i limp next in with a334, one fold, button limps sb completes bb checks

flop is J82r

limper bets i call button raises, blinds fold, we call

turn 2 checked around

river 8

limper checks, i check with the intention of calling if button bets and limper folds, and raising if button bets and limper thinks a while and calls.

button here is tricky and aggressive, mp is a little unpredictable but generally passive.

Not sure I follow this.. you actually think they both will fold or you are checkraising your pair of 3's on a double paired board for value in a multiway pot?

Easy fold if the limper folds? What hand could the button have that beats me? He clearly doesn't have trip deuces and it's doubtful he has trip eights. It's also doubtful he has a Jack, since he would probably bet the turn in position. He could have checked a Jack on the turn but I think he would bet it most of the time. (And even if he checked it on the turn, would he really bet it on the river? What would anyone call with?) The button is in a good spot to bluff here (and is a good enough player to know this) with his missed straight or low draw, because it pretty much looks like we all missed.

For value, clearly. I think the button will call the raise with Ace high, and the limper will overcall the river with Ace-King high.

I can see the logic in raising the river based on your reads. I can't see a call being any good there though. Do people really bluff with A high in Omaha?

He might not have Ace high. For example, KQT9 would make sense.

you could just bet the river. if you get raised it's real sketchy... you can probably call. that's assuming you like your hand here obviously.
