Default 25/50, 88 flopped a set, villain aggression on the turn...

$25/50

I'm usually a MSNL/Omaha player but just found this hand history I saved from a couple of months back. The session didn't go well but I didn't feel was due to bad play; however I've since dropped back down. At this point my image was TAG maybe a little nitty because I had gone to flop very few hands not because I had been blown off hands postflop, villain seemed to be a winning, aggressive player.

Hero/CO $4,400
Villain/BU $9,850

Dealt to Hero [8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]
2 folds, Hero raises to $220, BU calls, 2 folds.

FLOP: ($515) [7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]
Hero bets $350, BU calls.

TURN: ($1,215) [7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]][Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]
Hero bets $785, BU raises to $2,699, Hero..

What line is villain taking, and what's he put me on? Is it common for QQ JJ to be hidden on the button PF like that in HSNL? If he's got the nuts(T9) why wouldn't he put in a smaller rr for value or check and induce me on the river instead of this huge turn reraise? He's asking me to commit my whole stack basically since calling leaves me $1,150 behind.

Never fold a set and you will do well in the unlimited hold them.

Just shove.

You obviously can't read, I said I was not blown off hands. You post from micro stakes all the way to high stakes similar to freeucm.

I hope real replies come in or else I would have to agree with whomever that said "this is the HSNL forum where high stakes strategy is not discussed".

He's obviously not folding to a shove because by his betsize he knows it's 1/8th pot for him to call my shove. So in that scenario you still think a low set here will hold?

looks like the least -EV move for you would have been to fold preflop
