The thing is... Torre's terrible use of the bullpen isn't costing them a single win. He's just overworking his guys.

mariano comes into the close game in the eight inning.. yankees score 10 runs in the 9th... mariano stays in for three more outs and can't pitch the next day... just an example of how he has cost them a win...this type of stuff happens all the time

What makes you think I'm posting in this thread out of hate? The majority of my posts have been completely civilized dialogue with the occasional friendly banter and a silly tiff I had regret. No, I don't like the Yankees, but I would like to think I could post in their thread without people thinking I was hating on them.

ya friendly banter, my point wasn't what u were saying, it was the point that you took so much time concerning yourself with the rival team... only red sox fans do this... it stems from jealousy for 86 years... and one ws win hasn't erased it

the difference between mariano and edwar in your example you gave is insignificant. i know you think mariano is a god and cannot be replaced, but torre's costing his team maybe .3 games per year with his bullpen management strategy. MAYBE.
