Standard cbet $52, btn doesnt have a monster so his range is to small for us to do anything other than lead.

squeeze is ok pf. but u know that. as for postflop...

cbet $50. villain cd well have AK here, and he isnt pleased if he has 88/99/TT/JJ type hand.
if he goes back over the top its a question of the maths.

not getting much response to this. I thought it might have generated some discussion. To Cbet or not to Cbet. Here is the rest of the hand.

Hero bets $70, BTN calls $70

Turn: ($222) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $96 and is All-In, BTN calls $96

River: ($414) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $414 Pot ($2 Rake)
Hero showed 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pairs, Sevens and Fives) and LOST (-$200 NET)
[i]BTN showed 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a full house, Eights full of Fives) and WON $412 (+$212 NET)[/i

Sucks - but I like the C-bet and then c/fold on the turn. If he is that nitty and is willing to commit half a stack by the flop you have to read this as an over pair or a set.

You are a donk because you can't read this hand properly. Nit cold called on the button. Thats why its called a Squeeze play. Original raiser was standard Tag.
