you should be laying this down preflop. you are well behind his 3betting range.
As played, he is super aggro, jus call the flop, theres a slim chance he will shove the turn with QQ/KK. I mean we clearly aren't folding now, but i dont mind calling the flop, checking turn, and then shoving river, or calling a shove. Meh, it doesn't really matter, he is committed. |

Okay, so the 5:1 I get preflop are not a good reason to call - HU I def would not have called preflop against him.

[/ QUOTE ] It's not just the 5/1, it's these kind of flops where you (obviously, seeing what you did) play for stacks with a marginal hand. You pretty much hit the flop the way you wanted to, and yet are basically praying for a split (AK, AA , JJ much more likely). |
