I actually have a note like that next to my desktop. It says:

- Don't make retarded bluffs

- Think before you act

All in capitals ldo.

[/ QUOTE ]
When I started playing poker, I had a notepad window open with all stupid moves I made (really trivial thinks like bluffing a calling station) and in capitals "DON'T DO THAT" right behind it.

I stopped using it when the list didn't fit on my screen anymore.

Hey guys, random strategy question. I'm moving up to 100NL from 50NL, and trying to adjust to some of the added PF aggression. I'm finding myself in what seem to be marginal spots where I'm not sure if I want to commit.

You're in the BB, villain is 21/19 and a very solid reg. with Att. Steal Blinds at ~35%. He open raises on the BTN for $4, you hold AQo and 3bet him to $13. He 4-bets you to $34. What do you do? You haven't played with this guy a ton but you've seen him make this play a couple times already. He knows you're decent and could be 3betting him light. Is shoving a reasonable option or can you get away from this hand? I realize that if this guy is 4betting light, shoving is definitely +EV, but I can't get myself to do it.

How do you people usually handle this? Also, I thought there was a sticky on 4betting, but I can't seem to find it.

NEVER TRY TO BLUFF DONKS
