It's Durr, no he doesn't care to elaborate ... He tells us what to do and we have to figure out why.

imo any bet other than a shove on the river here is bad w/ any hand unless villains a pretty big donky.

assume they both play decent and are playing each other decent, the best way to put villain in a bad spot is to shove.

If what you're getting at is the fact that, generally speaking, you want to shove in these spots for "Shania" reasons, I agree with you. But, I think that, given the likely hand ranges, this is a spot to vary your play.

Villain does NOT know with certainty how you would play other hands in this spot. If you are always potting/pushing, and you make this play one time, it's up to him to guess whether you are trying to milk him or get away with a cheap bluff. Honestly, I happen to think that he is more likely to guess wrong than to guess right.

If I am making some underlying assumption that you disagree with (i.e. Ax probably folds to a push but calls 1600), then that's fine. But, unless I'm missing something major, I don't see how you can make the assumptions that I am making and still decide that a push is best.

So, greater insight into your thought process would be appreciated...

basically what hes saying is that nay bet he makes, be it a bluff or a value bet, is going to be a shove, so theres no reason to do something weird like bet half pot. holla
