Default (11$) Call min-raise from BB with any two?

Often in the first round or two of these SNGs someone will min-raise, there will be 3-4 callers, and I'll be sitting in the big blind with 10-5 offsuit. Is it worth calling and trying to flop 2 pair or trips, or should I fold and save myself the chips? I'm torn between playing tight early on and paying 40 chips to possibly win a large pot from someone who grossly overvalues top pair. Thoughts?

Don't bother. You need to save your chips for the push-fold stage of the game.

Yeah, but it's only 40 or 60 chips, and it seems like it might be worth putting in that much since if I flop a big hand I can take down at least a few hundred chips if not double up. Plus, later on in the game pushing in 1620 in chips is pretty much identical to pushing in 1660, ya know?

Clearly I posted this thread after folding 10-5 in the big blind to a min-raise, flopping two pair and realizing I would have doubled up off of aces. The next time I was in the same situation I decided to call in the big blind with J-4 and the flop came A-K-9. Grrrr.
