Best done by oneself? How so?

It's funny, he used to be a pain in your arse, and now you miss him so.

I am feeling the same void with BluffTHIS! Ever since he and PokerBob started their staredown there has been something missing in my life. The good news is he'll probably be back, if he isn't already.

I know. Imagine how I would carry on if it was someone I was REALLY close to.

Are they still doing the staredown seriously? Wow. That's amazing. I think they should come back on and post again.

Katy,

There have been many volumes written on that subject, which I interpreted (from your statement) to be....happiness.

If I misunderstood the gist of what you were saying, my apologies.

If happiness was what you were referring to.....well, that's another story entirely.

I wasn't talking about happiness. Sheesh, I can't believe you think I'm the kind of girl who looks to others for my happiness.

I was talking about someone who entertains and amuses us. He was funny and awesome. He made me mad. Now who will fill that void? I can't fill it myself you know. The thought of me sitting around my living room, alternately amusing myself and then pissing myself off, is preposterous.

I remember him talking about one drunken night when some people were partying at his place. He and some girl apparently had the mutual hots for each other, were a good few drinks in, and she was in his room sitting on his bed, trying to get his ever-fickle and wandering attention. A couple sentences he wrote probably without thinking or caring about them seemed to me a hilarious summation of the guy and his crazy attitude. "She's sitting on my bed and I'm making her laugh. Now she's petting my dog, and it's making me mad!"

I told him those would be great lines in a song I would buy immediately and play over and over again. (I hear it as sung by Fred Schneider of The B-52's.) The guy could be very entertaining. Whether he was as gifted as Katy says, I don't know, but when he would go off on a tear, I always wanted to know, So what happened next? Even if the answer made me want to strangle him.

Jeremy is [censored] unique no doubt. He is tormented.
It's my belief that he is either in a sanitarium....

Sorry if I over-edited. I see alot of similarities akin to the great Syd Barrett?

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
