Default Limpers causing commitment problems

Typical scenario in a 4/180 on Stars, blinds 75/150, me with 3500 or so chips holding AQs in the CO. 3 limpers to me, with between 1750 and 4500 chips each, players behind have similar stacks. What to do? Calling seems horrible. Shoving seems like a gross overbet. Folding seems ridiculous. I'd like to raise in this spot, but a standard raise to t900 leaves me pretty much committed to calling a shove, I think, with more than 25% of my stack in the pot, I'd be getting odds of no worse than 4025:2600 (better, if one of the shorter stacks is the one shoving). Should I just be happy to get it in here, even though I'm usually behind AK or a pair?

I guess the general question is how better players handle pot inflation caused by excessive limping (or miniraising and cold calling)?
