I have also been saying this for years. Many sites just plain rake too much.

As you can see by the quality of responses to your very important argument, however, most donks just don't care about the rake. They don't even understand that the rake busts the fish much faster and ruins the games over time.

One way to get around this is to specialize in tourneys and refuse to pay the rake. Unfortunately, I don't believe I've ever seen a rake war. I've seen rooms build a strong following by using a low rake (ala stars) to attract players to particular games (remember the $1 rake max 15-30 razz games at the Dust during the Casino era). I've never seen one room respond to another by cutting the rake. They compete very heavily on bs promotions, but never on the rake itself.

Thus, you can expect few intelligent responses. The donk's are just too stupid to realize how much the rake affects them.
