Quick question about hammer on/pull offs:

If you decide to strum a Ho/Po able note will the game count it as an extra note and therefore a mis-strum?

[/ QUOTE ]

my understanding is that if you hammer-on a note, and strum, it will be a mis-strum because you'll be holding down 2 buttons when you only need one. however if you pull-off a note, and strum, then it should be fine because you'll only be holding the button, and strumming the one you need to. of course if you're going to try to pull-off 3 notes in a row, and strum the second one while you're still holding two, it will be a mis-strum.

i'm certainly no expert in the hopo department but that seems logical to me. if the notes are hopoable, but you choose just to play them regularly and strum each of them, you shouldn't be penalized.

should never matter if u are holding down 2 buttons when u only need one

as long as the buttons u hold are to the left of the button u need to press, then it doesn't matter, just like in real guitar

It's really weird. I find myself listening to the radio and picking out the guitar parts and trying to imagine them with little colored dots coming at me. This game is really changing the way I listen to music.

I have no one to play coop with so I was messing around with practice and didn't realize you could practice the bass parts. Dude, if this game was 'Bass Hero' I would pwn all of you! And BTW,

I just hate playing it, not the song itself.

yeah!!!!!!!! just beat medium. i doubt i'm anywhere near ready for hard. i 75% every song and barely make it through. i don't know how i beat lou. i thought i was dead, and had no idea he was close to dead cause i only used maybe 3 powerups.
then when i got the finish him part, i thought i'd lose too because i was on the brink. that wouuld have been a major piss off.

lol, 58% of notes hit against lou. 18 note streak was my best
do you always get a 5-star review against lou? somehow i did.
