If it was only a handful of players I don't believe FTP has any obligation to do anything. Odds are that issue was caused by someone other then the poker site.

I mostly agree if we assume that it was only a handful of players that got knocked off. We don't know that though. Would be interesting if FT had numbers on how many got knocked off and how many were able to continue playing.
If only 2 or 3 out of 50 of their players got knocked-off then yeah...probably no refund is in order.

But FT did more than just "not doing anything.
Closing his account because he was cussing them out at their lack of response seems a bit strange. Don't they get foul-mouthed e-mails from ticked-off customers all the time?
If they keep his funds because of that then that is even stranger.

Wow, I am amazed that some of you seem to think FTP's conduct is appropriate because he got a little testy in his e-mails. This is typical for FTP, their support people don't take any efforts to make you wanna stay on their site if you are not happy. I got a little testy with them over not getting rakeback and they closed my account. This after being an iron ironman playing alot hours in cash games on FTP. Their support attitude insured that my business is now mostly conducted at Stars. I have no respect for these clowns nor the FTP apologists on here.

If their support people had a clue, they would be much more apologetic and understanding of player frustration. Their are alot of players not playing on FTP specifically because of the awful support attitude, me included. They could learn alot from stars support.

Did you get all pissy and threaten to kill some of the staff there at FTP? Maybe open a multiple account to do it? I doubt FTP closes anyones account unless the player asks for it to be closed, or threatens to gut the poor staffers like a trout. You threatened to kill them, didn't you, you big fella?? I don't care if FT closes his account because he's rude to them, but it doesn't mean FT shoud be able to keep the guy's roll (if that's what happened). OP should at least clarify whether FT is closing his account AND keeping his money or just closing his account.
