Its ok only if u don't think villain will call a second barell with 44-88.
And even then its not that great because it lets villain get away from 89-A9 and maybe even TT, JJ.

So yeah, i think leading the turn would be a better play. Why did you opt for the turn c/r?

just keep betting ... he will fold a lot of his floaty type hands when you c/r the turn.

however, you still get paid by slowplaying lower sets (they are calling the turn c/r anyway) and draws that keep calling. so betting again gets you more money from those draws while still maximizing it from other 2nd best hands.

whoa that was long

I figured he was floating with air and that I will get another bet out of him that way while he will still stack off with lower sets.

Anyway:

BTN raises to $100, hero...?

itīs shoving time. u got the nuts, he made a minraise so i guess heīs going to call. if he has an overpair and an ace comes on the river then hes thinking about folding

Yeah, c/r ing the turn is the best way to deal with floaters. I didn't think someone who folded 59% of the time to a c-bet was floating all that much. But i don't use Ace hud, or whatever its called, so I'm pretty clueless about that particular stat.

As previously mentioned, push over his raise because an over card may kill your action.

What draws?

Betting the turn again is fine on a drawy board. This is not a drawy board. Here, you have to check the turn to let the floater bet. The floater often folds to a turn 2nd barrel here.

Why not just bet the pot on the flop and turn and get it in on the river?
