Default Deep in the 215r on stars

Playing fairly tight since people keeeep 3betting me and i have had crap stacks to raise/4bet over a 3bet.

Villian has been fairly tight, has 3bet a few times and also coldcalled raises too. Nothing really interesting about him.

How is the line so far? He INSTACALLED the flop, like didn't even think about it. He checked turn fairly standard, and raised river within like 10 seconds.

I assume people don't fire again on turn as standard?

Does everyone bet river? If you don't bet river, what is your plan for various bets by villian (1/3 pot, 1/2 pot, 3/4 pot etc)

i was bet folding, sorry. Would have put that in but people then cry about showing results etc.

Was wondering if c/c(c/f depending on betsize?) > bet/fold or if people generally would just bet/fold

I like your line b/c your hand is pretty much face up on the river and you can b/f it because it's unlikely that he'll try to push you off a big ace...

really it think he could have a crap ace too I don't like the bet fold like espically after I hit my hand. I would have an extremly hard time folding this even with the flush showing. check call is probaly the best but you all are alot better than me.

The standard of play looked pretty bad in this, considering, but unless he's really bad, he's just calling with an ace on the river. And probably not floating with one on the flop. I don't think he's bluffing, nor value betting the same or worse, here very often at all.

FWIW, I thought this was a bet on the river and thought that advocating cc-ing was very results oriented. However, given the fact it's hard to see how he can have an ace here very often, nor TT+, I think the value is probably in inducing a bluff.

mig.com and daut both thought it was a check, and calling/folding depending on timing/size of bet.

My two housemates who are highstakes cashgame players thought it was a clear bet/fold.

I'm still undecided

Check/call that river.

There is a boat and flush on the board. Bet will get you off the hand.

Congrats for going deep!

I don't like bet/fold on the river. Bet/call or check/call.

I might not cbet this flop.

I can see why cash game players would say b/f because I think that is the right play in a cash game. But here even though I don't know if I could do it myself I think a c/c just makes the most sense. You have to risk too much to make a b/f a good play in this spot. Your hand can beat things that will bet the river if checked to but you can't beat much of anything that raises the river. c/c it is.
