Bet a little more on the flop, curse god and fold the turn

EDIT: If you had a little bit bigger stacks to play with on the turn, I'd like a bet/fold strategy.
As is, this is the second worst turn card you could see, and as much as it sucks, I think you have to fold to the pot size bet. Being OOP is a bitch.

Yeah I folded the turn but I always feel awkward in 3 bet pots
oop with QQ or JJ. Seems like if I ever get a stack in the middle in that situation im always behind.

Bet closer to the pot on the flop...

As played fold turn...He could easily have AKs or a very poorly played AA

You don't have to pot the flop. You want to bet similar in all spots like this. But you don't want to bet so small either. $10-$11 looks good. Turn, go with our gut. King doesn't change much unless he specifically had KsXs. Although your smallish flop bet may have led him to say screw it with his AK.
