Vhawk\'s Odyssey
Ok, I am drawing on the awesome wealth of diversity that is OOT. Sarting in 3 days, my friend and I are going on a 9-day, 9 city baseball extravaganza. We will be seeing 9 games in 9 different ballparks, in 6 states, 2 countries and a district. Most of these are places I've never been before. Obviously, time is ging to be a severely limiting factor, but I am looking for suggestions from people who live in these cities or who have had experience with them, on places we need to go in each city. Good recommendations include: restaurants, bars, clubs, or tourist attractions. A good recommendation is near one of the stadiums, in the interest of conserving time, but this is not a strict requirement. Consider the day of the week involved in each city, as well. We have not decided if we will be staying the night in each city after the game (some games are day games and we might try to make the next city before partying/crashing) so feel free to be flexible with your recommendations. The list is as follows:
Thursday, May 25th, Washington D.C. - RFK Stadium I've lived in DC for almost a year now, so I can probably figure this one out. However, any of you residents who have hidden gems, feel free to share. Friday, May 26th, Philadelphia, PA - Citizens Bank Park Saturday, May 27th, New York City, NY - Yankee Stadium Sunday, May 28th, Boston, MA - Fenway Park Monday, May 29th, Toronto, ON, CA - Skydome Tuesday, May 30th, Detroit, MI - Comerica Park Wednesday, May 31st, Cleveland, OH -Jacobs Field Thursday, June 1st, Pittsburgh, PA - PNC Park Friday, June 2nd, Baltimore, MD - Camden Yards |
