Apologies for the long post. I am frustrated and just want to get this posted. Thanks for any and all help.
1.) villain is fasteddie267 a known winning player at 2/4 probably about 20/15. I have been floating him with some success and i know he views me as a weak player. I know I should fold preflop here so lets just focus on post flop. Re: Downswinging, looking for post flop examination/criticism
call 1
c/c turn c/r riv in 2 if he's the floaty type. bet turn shove river otherwise jam river in 3 shove turn in 4 or getting it in this way is also fine these all seem fairly standard, sounds like you're just running bad |

I think you're up against a flopped set or AJ in hand 1 a lot though, but given how you got here you gotta call. |

Re: Downswinging, looking for post flop examination/criticism
hand 1 is gross. i don't think i'd have the discipline to fold but i wouldn't expect to be winning the hand 50% of the time.
hand 2 i occasionally take this line against bad players with monsters but i prefer leading the turn. hand 3 i think you should jam river and i don't think it's close. he almost never has a hand that has you beat here and he'll be looking you up often with weaker kings. hand 4 against lyric im doing everything i can to get the money in. i think pushing the turn is best but how you played it im snap calling the river and expecting to win > 75% of the time. |

Re: Downswinging, looking for post flop examination/criticism
I think you should just fold the flop in Hand 1 because a solid player lead into 3 other people.

[ QUOTE ]
I think you should just fold the flop in Hand 1 because a solid player lead into 3 other people. [/ QUOTE ] Wow everyone is saying this, but I could have QJ or JT (suited) all day here and lead the flop. My hand is a little too good to c/f, but c/c'ing puts me in a very tough spot on the rest of the streets, OOP in a growing pot, with very little info on my opponent's hand. I like leading through him; he can't do much without a hand (unless he's very tough) and it looks pretty strong to the others as well. Especially given the read that OP says Villain has of him, leading with a Jack makes terrific sense, from Villain's perspective. I think this is one of those spots where worse hands won't call (usually), better hands won't fold, yet it is still right to bet. |
