I was just about to start a thread about this game, haha.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but once I got the controls down and switched out of Tony Hawk mode, I love it.

The realism of the body movements, the slow motion replay, it's all done very well.

this has to be the best skateboarding game very, its not even close, it just takes it to a while nother level than tony hawk.
Just skating around doing 3 flips and mastering grinds like noseblunts and stuff, just makes this the best game
the only way to improve it would be to listen to music at a decent volume all the time, which can be solved by just playing music on the 360

I downloaded this and the Tony Hawk demo. I have to say that this game is great. I played Tony Hawk first and it's basically the same game it's been since release. The demo ran out of time, so I started Skate.

I played it for 1.5 hours. Here's a hint to game developers, don't time limit the demos. If it were a 10 minute demo, I would have been frustrated by the controls (because I'm used to Tony Hawk) and never played it again. But because it wasn't limited in time, I kept playing it until I'm getting sort of good. Now I really want to buy this game.
