That said, I don't think CO needs a very strong hand to raise four limpers here. Would anyone squeeze here or is it just too transparent?

I think a squeeze here would take all the value out of our hand. I dont want to win 10 bucks here, although, it would likely work given his range....But very good points on the aggro factor... for drawing hands as opposed to small pairs.

I never squeeze in a spot like this, but it's one of those spots where I often think to myself, man, if I had balls of titanium, I bet I could just take this free money. Yeah, making a play like that, our cards become functionally irrelevant. It would be more likely to work if we were the second limper, probably.

*Grunch*

I don't call.

Yes, there's a chance that you'll flop a made hand (two pair or better). However, the most likely flop you're going to make is some kind of draw.

I don't play drawing hands OOP.

If the raise came from the blinds, then I call. But not with a raise coming from the Cut Off.

Now, considering that UTG+1 called, perhaps this is a good time for some of the better players to school me on the merits of having relative position over absolute position?

I would fold JTs, from that position, to that preflop raise.

Uhhh..how does the other player play?

I think that is very very important information.

Edit: UTG+1 obviously.

Its close, but probably a fold. If he covered you in this hand I think you'd be ok to call 140 BB deep.

I was thinking MP3, if I can be sure he will fold and I close betting on later rounds, I lean towards calling.

JTs plays well multiway. If MP3 is aggresive type that may get involved.. i dunno.

Tough spot for sure.

I would either just raise first in cuz JTs is the nuts...or fold, depends on my image at the time.

Nits... I probably raise it the first time action gets to me. Yes, I would def call CO's feeble attempt of a raise, and then PWN his AA on a 8,9,Q flop. But if you call, don't be a jerk and call PSB's on every street with top pair.
